Virginia Daly, M.S.

Professor Virginia “Ginger” Daly has been a faculty member at Becker College since 1985. A professor of exercise science, Daly earned a master of science from Worcester State College and a bachelor of science from the University of Massachusetts. She coached the Becker College field hockey team from 1985 until 2002. Daly’s teams won four NJCAA championships in 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1996. She was named NJCAA field hockey Coach of the Year four times, and 31 of her players were named All-American. Coach Daly’s career record of 255-41-17 with a .841 winning percentage is top among all coaches in every sport in the history of Becker/LJC athletics.
Daly has taught a variety of courses in exercise science and sports management at Becker College. She developed and implemented a kinesiology baccalaureate degree program in what was formerly the health and fitness department and has served as the senior women’s administrator at the College.
