Local & National Resources

Below is a categorical listing of local and national resources that will support any member of the campus community who experiences gender discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, or other sexual misconduct. These resources are available regardless of whether a complaint (report) is filed.

Local Resources

Pathways for Change
Pathways For Change addresses the impact of sexual violence by providing quality and multicultural services to those whose lives have been impacted by sexual violence and to provide education geared toward ending violence.

Worcester County Victims Assistance
The Victim Services Unit is committed to providing victims of crime with access to comprehensive, quality services regardless of the nature of their victimization, age, race, religion, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, capability, or geographic location.

New Hope
New Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving domestic and sexual violence survivors.

YWCA of Central Massachusetts
The YWCA Central Massachusetts has developed a comprehensive domestic violence program that encompasses a service delivery system that can respond to survivors of domestic violence effectively and efficiently.

National Resources

Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN)
RAINN is the national organization that works to support survivors of sexual assault and provides resources and sources of advocacy for the rights of survivors.

After Silence
After Silence provides victims of sexual violence with a supportive community where they can become survivors of their trauma.

Stalking Resource Center
This center provides information about stalking and resources for victims.

OK2TALK encourages teens and young adults struggling with mental health problems to talk about what they’re experiencing by sharing their personal stories of recovery, tragedy, struggle, or hope.

AVP: Anti-Violence Project
This project empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected communities by educating and supporting survivors.

Pandora’s Project 
Pandora’s Project sponsors the internet’s largest support community for those who have been the victim of sexual violence, especially LGBTQ survivors, men, kids, and teens.

MaleSurvivor is an organization providing critical resources to male survivors of sexual trauma and all their partners in recovery by building communities of hope, healing, and support.

1in6 offers a wide range of information and services to help men with histories of unwanted or abusive sexual experiences.

Due to the pandemic, many victims of domestic violence are being isolated at home with their abusers. The impact has caused an increase of unhealthy environments, making it harder to reach out for help and find safe options without being monitored. As we approach the holidays, we wanted to help provide assistance to those who may be struggling with these silent battles, alone.
