Alan Ritacco, Dean of the School of Design and Technology and Paul Cotnoir, Associate Dean, at Becker College, were invited by Microsoft to speak at the Campus Connections Summit in London, at Imperial College.

The two-day event included speakers from higher education, as well as Microsoft Research and their partners, who shared case studies and information about their work.

The gathering included representatives from 50 world-class educational institutions. Participants focused on determining how digital transformation can help with the goal of “Achieving Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Research”.

Deans Ritacco and Cotnoir spoke about the Agile University, which is a novel workforce program. Highlights can be seen in this video: Campus Connections Summit.

The Microsoft Campus Connections Summit was held in collaboration with Times Higher Education, and supported by GÉANT, Europe’s leading collaboration on e-infrastructure for education research. The Summit also included interactive sessions where participants worked to develop partnerships and create a new Education Transformation Framework for Higher Education.
