Becker College to participate in CIGE Global Connections
Dr. Debra Pallotto-Fontaine, Becker College Executive Director for Global Initiatives and Yunus Social Business Center at Becker College, has been invited to participate in the Center for Internationalization and Global Engagement (CIGE) Global Connections: U.K. Networking Intensive Program, which will take place December 11-14, 2017, in London. Jointly developed by the American Council on Education (ACE) Center for Internationalization and Global Engagement and Universities UK International, the four-day program brings a select U.S. delegation to the U.K. to:
- Attend a semi-annual conference of pro-vice chancellors for international affairs from approximately 40 U.K. institutions;
- Explore the U.K. higher education system in a changing political context through meetings with experts;
- Spend a day on the U.K. campus to learn how international activities are managed, exchange good practices, and discuss possible collaborations;
- Create an ongoing community of practice by engaging with U.K. and U.S. colleagues and ACE staff before, during, and after the program.
Dr. Pallotto-Fontaine was selected through a competitive application process.
