Cookies and Course Planning

Visit with your academic advisor, Melissa Brewer-Corash or Janessa Vandegriff, in the conference room on the lower level to discuss your academic plans for Intersession and Spring 2014.

Resume Review

Meet with Charise Wilson, a member of the staff in the Center for Accelerated & Professional Studies, and have your resumé reviewed before job searching.

Financial Aid Questions

Amanda Mellor, financial aid counselor, will be available to answer your financial aid questions.

Recipe Board

Do you have a favorite recipe, one that your family loves, or that is quick and easy to prepare? Email your recipe to Sheila Soloperto, We will post your recipe on our RECIPE BOARD during our Nontraditional Student Week Celebration, and provide copies for anyone who would like to try it. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in this activity.

Networking Board

Bring your business card to post on the Center for Accelerated & Professional Studies Community Board. We plan to leave this board up in the Accelerated Student Lounge area during the year.

Let’s Give Thanks

Pick up a Becker College notecard, which you can use to write a thank you to someone who has supported you on your educational journey—friend, classmate, family member, or professor. Address the envelope, and we will mail it for you.

Vote for Your Favorite Faculty Member

Complete a ballot for your favorite faculty member. These votes will be used to determine the recipient of “The Accelerated Faculty of the Year Award,” to be awarded during Commencement exercises in May 2014.

Network with other students and enjoy make-your-own frozen yogurt sundaes.

Follet College Bookstore

Stop by and meet the staff from the bookstore. They will provide information on how to purchase textbooks, as well as describe the different textbook options available, including used, rental, and digital.

Bring a Friend. Attend a Class

(Preregistration is required.)

Invite a friend, coworker, or relative who may be interested in attending Becker College. They will have an opportunity to attend a class, learn more about our programs, and speak with program representatives.
