About the Course:

This course will examine the components of the research process. Emphasis is placed upon the research process, research designs, reading and critiquing research, and the use of research as a guide to nursing practice. Ethical considerations of research and practical aspects of research as a basis for evidence-based practice will provide a foundation for course discussions. Open to students in the BSN and RN-BSN nursing programs only. A grade of C+ or better is required in nursing courses to continue in the Nursing Program. Pre and co-requisite courses must be taken as outlined in the Becker College RN-BSN curriculum plan.
