About the Course:

Students will apply the fundamental principles of marketing to the international arena. They will examine culture, history, geography, religion, economics, and business climate in terms of their impact on the marketing process. They will learn how marketing strategies and promotional messages are context-specific, and how both multinational and global marketing strategies can be effective depending on the target market and the characteristics of a company’s products and services. Case studies and current events will provide an opportunity to put the course material into practice. Prerequisite: MKTG2004. Meets the requirement for Business elective.
