About the Course:

This course offers a valuable opportunity for students interested in starting or working for social ventures. It emphasizes best business practices in the service of positive, sustainable social impact across all sectors of leadership including the non-profit, public and for-profit sectors. Teams of students gain hands-on experience as they undertake market research, marketing strategies and/or financial analyses for existing social ventures and apply social business principles. The course will provide opportunities in the area of social entrepreneurship and create an environment in which students’ ideas and initiatives can take shape and flourish. Prerequisite: MGMT 2207 Social Business.
