About the Course:

This course introduces students to the basics of image acquisition, photographic techniques, and digital processes. Through shooting assignments and hands-on computer lab work, the students concentrate on taking the image while learning creative control and visual skills, preparing project files and outputting them to print. The students will produce a wide range of work to be used in a professional presentation. Students are required to own or have access to a camera. Prerequisite: none. Meets the requirement for Art and Interactive Media Design elective.
