About the Course:

An introduction to the complex processes involved with the development of constitutional doctrine in the United States. Students will study the major cases and Supreme Court decisions that serve as the principle vehicle for constitutional elaboration, adaptation and change. Prerequisite: GOVT1108. Meets the requirement for Social Science elective.
