About the Course:

The study of literary movements from Local Realists through the Contemporaries. Among the authors to be studied are: Twain, Harte, Pierce, James, Crane, Adams, Drieser, O’Neill, Anderson, Frost, Cummings, Robinson, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Elliot, Faulkner and Miller. Students will analyze a variety of works and write essays. Prerequisites: CORE-ENGL and ENGL1003.

Meets the requirement for Humanities elective. Course offered: Varies.
