Becker College Ranks Among Best Nursing Programs in Massachusetts
Published on: February 25, 2019
Becker College’s nursing programs rank, once again, among the best in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. With distinguished faculty, committed students, and strong student pass rates on the nursing licensing exam, Becker College came in 7th out of the 41 Massachusetts nursing programs evaluated by RegisteredNursing.org. The nursing advocacy organization only weighs NCLEX-RN scores when ranking schools. The College’s online RN to BSN program has also been featured as one of the best programs in the Commonwealth by TopRNtoBSN.com. The independent resource for students evaluates programs based on cost, reputation, and graduate employment and narrows down programs that can “show students real results”.
“These most recent achievements show our rigorous curriculum doesn’t just prepare our nursing students to enter the field, but teaches them to be leaders,” said Dr. Laurie Hillson, Dean of the School of Nursing & Health Sciences. “We work hard to ensure every student can excel on the NCLEX and feel confident as they begin their careers.”
Colleges of Distinction recognized the nursing program in 2018 for its strong record of preparing students for real-world success. The School announced higher than average NCLEX-RN pass rates late last year. The School of Nursing & Health Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in nursing including an associate of science in nursing and a bachelor’s of science in nursing as well as an online RN to BSN program. Each program is offered to meet the needs of today’s student. Students gain experience through clinical experience, skills labs, and in the high-fidelity simulation lab.
