Becker College’s International Game Developers Association (IGDA) Club is hosting a Demo Night on Friday, Nov. 22, from 6-9 p.m.

“Demo Night 2 is an event where we host a venue for students in the interactive media majors to showcase the games that they’ve been working on,” said Becker College student Jennifer Kindl, who is the IGDA president.

The demo night comes a week after the IGDA Becker Chapter hosted a game jam hosted a game jam. Participants in the jam worked to make competitive games in 48 hours.

“So the plan was to host this game jam, give students a week to polish their games, and then we would run tournaments in collaboration with Becker Gaming Tournaments,” KIndl said.

The Demo Night will be held in the Colleen C. Barrett Center for Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship, at 80 William Street on Becker College’s Worcester Campus.  It is free and open to the public.
