Becker College police captain honored with Clery Compliance Award

Becker College Police Captain Richard Menard, president of the Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (MACLEA), received the D. Stafford and Associates Excellence in Clery Compliance Award at the Annual National Association of Clery Compliance Officers and Professionals (NACCOP) Conference in Baltimore this month. Each year, the NACCOP award recognizes a current practitioner who has contributed significantly to the development or refinement of Clery Act compliance programs at his or her university.
“This distinguished recognition conveys Captain Menard’s dedication and contributions to ensure and transform Clery compliance at Becker College,” said Becker College Police Chief David Bousquet. “He has done this through continuous improvement with Clery initiatives at the College. He has also established himself in the higher education profession as a mentor for others to follow in Clery compliance. He is a tremendous asset to Becker and the department.”
