Master of Fine Arts in Interactive Media

We designed the Master of Fine Arts degree at Becker College to allow students to customize their graduate learning experience while fully exploring their passion for interactive media using Beckers’ innovative studio-based curriculum. This gives students access to real hands-on experience while following their own vision to design and develop an advanced thesis project.

Our program was designed to be flexible with classes that take place on just one day each week, allowing students the opportunity to work full time while continuing their education to master the tools, theory, and practice associated with their chosen area of interest.

This rigorous 60-credit program is intended to prepare students for careers in the highly competitive and ever-changing fields of game development and interactive media. A Masters in Fine Art is a terminal degree in this field which opens up career paths in higher education, teaching and research. The MFA program may be completed in two years for students who hold a relevant BS/BA degree. Students enrolled in Becker College’s Game+ program can obtain both their BA and MFA in just five years.
