Deposited Students

Welcome to Hawk Nation!

Now that you’ve paid your deposit, you are officially a Becker Hawk! Below are your checklist items to complete before you start your journey at Becker.

Spring 2021 Deposited Students:

  1. Review your Welcome Letter from the Registrar’s Office: You will need to log in to THE NEST to access this letter, which will include your Becker Email and how to access your Student Portal during your time here at Becker.
  2. Register for Orientation: Details coming soon!
  3. Health History: Health forms are due for all new and transfer students for the Spring semester prior to December 15, 2020.  Students without the required forms may be unable to move into campus housing, participate in athletics, or begin classes, and may be charged a $250 late fee. As per the Department of Health guidelines, every student must have these forms submitted in order to move-on to campus and/or begin classes.  Submitting these forms prior to arrival ensures a smooth transition for every student at Becker College.
    • The state of Massachusetts and Becker College require that all students carrying 9 or more credits and all International Students be enrolled in a USA medical insurance plan. To comply with this regulation, students that meet the above-mentioned criteria, are automatically enrolled in, and billed for, the Student Health Insurance Plan through Becker College. To access Health Insurance Plan information go to this website: www.universityhealthplans.com If you have comparable USA insurance, you may choose to waive the school health insurance plan. You MUST Waive by February 1, 2021.
  4. Housing: Students who plan to live on campus and have paid their housing deposit will be contacted by the Office of Residence Life & Student Conduct. Keep an eye on your Becker email with housing next steps. For more information please visit our Residence Life Page.   5. Tuition Bill:  Please visit myBecker on the student portal for updates regarding your student bill.

Fall 2021 Deposited Students:

  1. Review your Welcome Letter from the Registrar’s Office: You will need to log in to THE NEST to access this letter, which will include your Becker Email and how to access your Student Portal during your time here at Becker.
  2. Register for Orientation: Planning is currently underway for an orientation experience to occur in the future, prior to your arrival on campus. More information can be found on our orientation page when it becomes available.

  3. Gateway Math Foundation:  At Becker College, placement in the Gateway math foundation course is determined by each student’s skill level based on the current SAT/ACT score, or if test scores were not submitted.  More information will be provided to those students who will be taking the course by email. The Gateway math foundation course is offered online via the student’s Canvas account. If you meet the requirements/are eligible, admissions will contact you for next steps.
    • Completion of the Gateway math foundation course is seven weeks.  The last day to begin the Gateway math foundation course is July 15, 2021.
    • Participation in the Gateway Program is free!  Register online by emailing registrar@becker.edu.
  4.   5. Housing: June 1 is the Priority Housing Deadline. This means that any student who plans to live on campus must submit their housing deposit by that date. Continue to monitor your pre-enrollment portal for information on next steps. Your housing application will be available for completion through your student status portal from June 29th to July 13th. Housing assignments and roommate information will be sent to incoming students in August. For more information please visit our Residence Life Page.   6. Tuition Bill: The Student Accounts Office will mail fall semester bills to new students in June.
               Resident Students: tuition payment is due by July 20, 2021.
              Commuter students: tuition payment is due by August 3, 2021
