Justin Weyant wanted to broaden his understanding of the criminal justice system and learn law and enforcement processes so that he can one day work in the court and corrections systems. He chose Becker College’s forensic psychology major and its small class sizes for this education. Weyant is pursuing academic excellence while at the College. As he says, “taking pride in my success here allows me to continue improving myself while gaining knowledge.”
After graduation, Weyant hopes to work as a psychologist evaluating inmates in prison. He believes that communication is vital in the rehabilitation process and that he is capable of practicing conflict resolution in this setting. He’s also considered working with police investigations as a profiler or an expert witness in trials.
