Exercise science majors study the science of human movement. They serve as important partners in improving the health and wellness of people of all ages. A Becker College degree in exercise science provides the skills you need to work in a variety of organizations and settings—or to prepare for graduate school.

Exercise science majors play a strong role in helping people live healthier lives. Most Americans are more fitness conscious than ever, leading to an explosive growth in the health and fitness industry and the demand for those trained to service their needs. In addition, an aging population that seeks a quality of life and good health will increase the demand for qualified health and fitness professionals. In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, it is projected that a 29 percent increase in employment in the exercise science field is expect to 2018—a rate of employment that is faster than the national average for all occupations.
