Kristin Rainey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development and Applied Economics from the University of Vermont. She continued her graduate education at Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management, and received a Master in Public Administration degree. She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for almost 15 years at various agencies and capacities. More specifically, she was an Analyst at the Office of Tax Policy Analysis at the Department of Revenue. She continued on to the Department of Transitional Assistance, and was a Management Analyst and was promoted to Auditor. Lastly, she served as Budget Analyst in the Budget and Planning Office within the President’s Office at the University of Massachusetts.
