Kim graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a bachelors degree in Animal Science in 1999. She joined Becker in March of 2015 as a clinical instructor in Surgery/Anesthesia laboratories.
Kim spent many years employed at local emergency and referral centers working as an ICU nurse, anesthesia/surgery technician and ophthalmology technician.
She lives in western MA on a small farm with Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, and other small critters, and enjoys spending free time with her husband and 2 daughters. She also competes in field events with her 5 Hungarian Vizslas and has bred and campaigned one of the top field Vizslas in the country.
Kim encourages students to look for avenues that will allow them to further their knowledge in veterinary technology and strive to become leaders within their field.
