Accreditation and Program Outcomes

The School of Nursing & Health Sciences offers three nursing programs.

Becker College is accredited by the New England Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The associate of science in nursing program (ASN) program and the bachelor of science in nursing program are approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing (BORN) and are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

The RN to BSN program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Program Goals/Outcomes

ASN Program

  • 80% of all first-time NCLEX test takers will pass during the same 12-month period.
  • 80% of ASN graduates complete the nursing program within 150% of the program length (6 semesters).
  • 75% of graduates who respond to inquires (email, phone, in person, and survey) will be employed as a registered nurse within 12 months after graduation.

BSN Program

  • 80% of all first-time NCLEX test takers will pass during the same 12-month period.
  • 80% of BSN graduates complete the nursing program within 150% of the program length (7 semesters).
  • 80% of graduates who respond to inquires (email, phone, in person, and survey) will be employed as a registered nurse within 12 months after graduation.

RN-BSN Program

  • 80% of RN-BSN graduates complete the nursing program within 150% of the program length (6 semesters).
  • 80% of graduates who respond to inquires (email, phone, in person, and survey) will be employed as a registered nurse within 12 months after graduation.
