Our programs promote a student-centered culture of learning which promotes academic excellence. Our graduates are pragmatic problem solvers, prepared to be transformational leaders, and prepared for the challenges of an evolving health care system. Combining innovative academics with real-world clinical practice.

Our school embraces Becker’s mission and core values: transformative learning experiences in a socially responsible, inclusive community—anchored by its Core Values—which promotes academic excellence, inspires innovation and entrepreneurship, fosters an agile mindset, and prepares graduates to contribute to a global society that is increasingly focused on change.

With an increase in the aging population older adults are living longer and have increasing healthcare needs. In turn, the demand for health professionals has increased which will beneficially impact health professions and meeting the needs of the aging population. Significant job growth for healthcare professionals is projected to increase through 2025. What an exciting time to pursue a degree in the health professions.

Becker’s School of Nursing & Health Sciences has been recognized by Colleges of Distinction for its strong record of preparing graduates for real world success. This new special field of study distinction comes on the heels of another college-wide honor by Colleges of Distinction, a national guidebook honoring schools throughout the U.S. for excellence in undergraduate-focused higher education. Becker was named a national College of Distinction for creating a truly unique learning environment where students not only earn college credit and valuable life experience, but also participate in character-building programs.
