The Becker College Equestrian Center is a hunter-jumper barn that specializes in hunt seat equitation. Located in rural Paxton, Mass., the center is a convenient drive or shuttle ride, from both the Leicester and Worcester campuses.

The stable is situated on 30 picturesque acres of land that abuts Moore State Park and includes expansive turn-out pastures for the horses, an indoor riding arena, and a large outdoor ring. The center offers full board for horses and lessons to both Becker College students and the public.

Boarding at the Becker College Equestrian Center includes full-time care for your horse. Horses are turned out daily, and every paddock has a Nelson automatic watering system and a run-in shed. The facility also has a three-stall quarantine barn, outdoor wash stalls, an indoor riding arena, a large outdoor ring, and a training round pen.

Lesson programs offer beginner through advanced level private and group lessons for both adults and children.

  • Nikki Layne Eastman

    Director, Becker College Equestrian Facility, assistant coach, Becker College intercollegiate riding team. Nikki is a graduate of the equine management program at Johnson & Wales University and was nationally ranked during her IHSA career. She has been riding, teaching, and competing for 20 years. She is also the president of the IHSA Alumni Division in Region I, Zone I.
