The Colleges of Worcester Consortium Shuttle

A free Consortium shuttle service is provided Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The route connects six member campuses (WPI, Becker, Assumption, Clark, Worcester State, and Holy Cross) with service to the Worcester Public Library, Union Station, the Worcester Art Museum, and the downtown area. You can catch the shuttle at the front gate of 61 Sever Street on the Worcester Campus.

Becker Shuttle Service

The Becker College shuttle runs between the Worcester and Leicester campuses from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Taxi

Local taxi companies include Yellow Cab (508.754.3211) and Red Cab (508.792.9999).

Car Rental

Most of the major rental agencies (Avis, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise, and  Thrifty), have offices in Worcester.

City Buses: Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA)

Intercity Buses and Trains: Union Station

Trains: Get to and from more than 500 cities nationwide. Commuter trains to Boston stop at several stations along Boston’s subway system (known as the “T”). Travel to Union Station by bus by transferring to the 1, 5, 12, or 15 at City Hall. Schedule information is available from Amtrak or the MBTA Commuter Rail.

Airports

There are three international airports serving the Worcester area, all approximately an hour from the Worcester Campus:

Providence, Rhode Island: T. F. Green Airport
Hartford, Connecticut: Bradley International Airport
Boston, Massachusetts: Logan International Airport

Worcester Regional Airport: Located just minutes from Becker, Allegiant Air offers service to Orlando/Sanford, Florida.

Getting to the Airport: You can arrange a limousine van ride from Worcester to either T. F. Green or Logan by calling the Worcester Airport Limousine Service at 800.660.0992 or going to www.wlimo.com.
