August Arrival Information for International Students

New Resident International Students

As an international student, you are required by the United States Department of Homeland Security to report to the Office of International Student Services prior to the beginning of your academic program. New students are required to attend check-in, the international orientation program, and new student orientation.

Check-in will be held in the Boutin Student Center Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Following check-in you be allowed to move into your residence hall. Please do not arrive on campus prior to August 21; unless you are a student athlete here for pre-season we are not able to accommodate you before August 21, 2014. International Student Orientation will begin at noon on Thursday, August 21, 2014 and August Orientation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on August 22, 2014.

New International Commuter Students

As an international student, you are required by the United States Department of Homeland Security to report to the Office of International Student Advising prior to the beginning of your academic program. New students are required to attend check-in, the international orientation program, and new student orientation. Check-in will be held in the Boutin Student Center August 21, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. International Student Orientation will begin at noon on Thursday, August 21, 2014 and August Orientation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on August 23, 2014.

Returning Resident International Students

As an international student, you are required by the United States Department of Homeland Security to report to the Office of International Student Advising prior to the beginning of your academic program. Returning students are required to attend mandatory check-in and are welcome to attend the international orientation program which begins at noon.

Check-in will be held in the Boutin Student Center August 21, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Following check-in you be allowed to move into your residence hall. Please do not arrive on campus prior to August 21; unless you are a student athlete here for pre-season we are not able to accommodate you before August 21, 2014.
