Commencement 2013

In fall 2012, Becker College President Robert E. Johnson, Ph.D., announced the launch of the College’s 225th Commencement Anniversary. For 225 years, Becker College has been dedicated to providing a relevant, connected, and engaged collegiate experience, and celebrating the accomplishments and achievements of our graduates. Our anniversary theme, “Celebrating a History of Changing Lives,” focuses on all that has made Becker College great—its people, its programs, and its growth, as well as the impact its graduates have had upon the world.

Our remarkable journey began with the founding of two institutions—Leicester Academy and Becker’s Business School—and has encompassed the union of these two schools, incredible growth, and sustained commitment to delivering an education that transforms each student and prepares them to be global citizens. Although much has changed for over two centuries—including our name—our passion for providing an experience that leads to personal and professional success has never wavered.

Each spring, Becker College celebrates the graduation of its students. It is a time in which the College recognizes the commitment we have made towards ensuring we deliver to the world highly educated, responsible citizens who are prepared to contribute to a global society and rise to the top of their chosen professions.
