Fred Spennachio ’61

Fred Spennachio ’61 attended Becker when it was still a junior college. At that time, Becker was working to establish a transfer program so its students could successfully continue their education at four-year colleges and universities. During Fred’s second year at Becker, he applied to several universities, but in most cases discovered they would not accept all of  his course credits. He shared his frustration with then Dean of Students George Aziz, who offered his help. As a result, Fred was able to successfully transfer to Bowling Green State University. It is no wonder that he extends his sincere appreciation for all that Becker College did for him while he was a student.
