Payment Plan

Becker College is pleased to offer an interest-free payment plan by partnering with Nelnet Business Solutions, Inc. (formerly FACTS) to help families and students meet your expenses at Becker College.

The college will offer a per semester payment plan. There will not be an annual plan.

If you wish to take advantage of the payment plan for the entire academic year, you will need to set up a payment plan for the fall semester and then set up another plan for the spring semester. This will ensure that your payments are posted to the proper semester.

Our payment plan is designed to assist those families who may find it difficult to pay the total semester balance by the due date. The plan can help any family regardless of financial status. If you are taking alternative loans, you may also be able to reduce the amount that you need to borrow by utilizing a payment plan in conjunction with your loan.

With an enrollment fee of $35 per semester (which includes the Piece of Mind Insurance for the payer), the payment plan can be set up in the following ways:                  

·         Easy online enrollment on a secured and encrypted site

·         Five equal payments throughout each semester (Fall and Spring)

·         Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) from a checking or savings account

·         Payment by credit card/debit card (MasterCard, American Express and Discover) with an added convenience fee

·         No monthly interest

 

Terms and Conditions:   

·        The enrollment fee of $35/per semester  is non-refundable and will be deducted from the account provided within 14 days of the agreement being posted to the NBS system

·        All billed educational costs (tuition, fees, room and board) are allowable budget costs on the plan

·        The plan amount may be adjusted as the student’s balance due to Becker College changes from added/dropped courses or adjusted financial aid

·        The college reserves the right not to offer the payment plan in cases where applicants have not paid according to their payment schedule.

·        Families/students much apply each semester for the payment plan

·        A $25 returned payment fee will be automatically deducted from the account for each payment attempt that is returned

·        Payment due date is the 5th of each month (June 5-October 5 for fall plans and November 5-March 5 for spring plans)

·        Your payment plan with Nelnet Business Solutions, Inc. is considered complete when all scheduled payments have been received at Becker College. However, completion of the payment plan does not mean that all financial obligations to Becker College have been met. Please contact the student accounts office at 508-373-9437 if you should have any concerns or carefully review your monthly statement mailed to the student by Becker College

 

NOTE:  It is the student's responsibility to make sure that the outstanding balance owed to Becker College will be satisfied by the payment plan budget.  Please review your payment plan account balance online through My FACTS Account or call the Student Accounts Office at Becker College at 508-373-9437,  if you find that the payment plan budget needs to be adjusted .
