Mission
The Office of Institutional Research and Outcome Assessment is responsible for the collection, analysis, and distribution of information concerning the college's activities in support of informed planning, decision-making and reporting.
The office carries out these responsibilities by:
- Providing information for planning and decision making in areas like entering-student placement, enrollment management, course evaluation, program review and outcomes assessment
- Developing and maintaining a base of information to ensure external accountability through timely and accurate reporting
- Maintaining an online knowledgebase to facilitate the flow of information among departments of the college
- Overseeing and facilitating survey research conducted in areas like development, student services and the academic program
- Benchmarking the college against peer institutions
