Commuter Services
Commuter Services
Commuter Services at Becker College are part of the Student Affairs Office, an office designed to provide a helpful, welcoming, student-focused environment. If you commute to campus from home or an apartment you’ll have the same opportunities that resident students have. About half of our students commute from their homes in surrounding towns or from apartments in the local area. Some students commute to campus, attend class and return home. Others become actively involved in campus life, from working with classmates on group projects to holding an office in a student organization. Students who resided off campus can become involved in the commuter club. The commuter club is a student government recognized club whose mission is to unite Becker College commuters, provide adequate services to the commuters while addressing any student issues that effect commuters. As a commuter you’ll bring energy and excitement to the campus along with local knowledge of community.
Commuter Services was created to support our commuter students. Furthermore, it supports co-curricular programs devoted to helping those who do not reside on campus. Come in to Student Services and see how you can get involved.

Need Academic Support?
Collaborative Learning Center (CLC)
The Collaborative Learning Center offices are dedicated to helping Becker students achieve their goal of academic success. The Worcester Center is located at 30 Roxbury Street and the Leicester Center is located in Marsh Hall. The Centers provide professional individual and group content tutoring, study skills instruction and workshops, and writing consultations. Students can benefit from both the expertise of the Learning Specialists as well as our knowledgeable and engaging Peer Tutors. This "learn how to learn" environment engages in partnerships with faculty and other academic services, creating a dynamic learning atmosphere that is conducive to active learning.
These benefits are available by appointment during normal operating hours (9am-5pm M-F during the Fall/Spring semesters), and are free of charge to all Becker students. Please call our main office at 508-373-9704, email CLC@becker.edu , or search “CLC” on www.becker.edu to schedule a tutoring session.
