Guest Pass Policy

Becker College grants students the privilege of hosting guests in the residence halls. In addition, a resident’s ability to host guests is, in fact, a courtesy extended by a roommate or roommates. Prior to requesting a guest pass, it is required that the host retains approval from his or her roommate(s). Any non- Becker College student on campus between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. must be registered through the online Guest Pass Request Form.     All information must be correct and complete; any missing or incorrect information invalidates the pass.

All guests need to depart campus by 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and by 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, unless they have an Overnight Guest Pass. If a guest is bringing a vehicle to campus, the host student must accompany his/her guest to Campus Police in order to request a guest parking permit.

Resident Students/hosts must accompany their guests at all times. A resident may have no more than two guests at a time, and guests may stay for a maximum of three nights during a seven day period. Once a student has requested permission to host a guest through the online process, it is incumbent on the host student to print the guest pass. All guests must carry their Guest Pass on their person at all times. Failure to have a valid Guest Pass in possession may result in immediate removal from college property.

Guests are expected to respect and comply with the rules and regulations described and contained in the Student Handbook. At all times, residents are responsible for the conduct and activity of their guests, including any damage caused to College property and violations of College policy. The Directors of Student Services and Residence Life Staff have the authority to deny or revoke Guest Passes, using their discretion, based on resident or guest behavior.

No overnight guests are permitted during the first two weeks of the academic year or during study and final examination periods.

Questions regarding the Guest Registration Policy or procedures should be directed to the Director of Residential Life and Housing on the campus with which you reside.
