Course Schedule Information

The Registrar’s office maintains all student academic records. Assistance is provided on both campuses for course registration, class schedules, schedule adjustments, enrollment verifications, transfer credits, graduation, VA certification, consortium registration and transcripts. Also, many of the forms needed to update or change student information are available: change of major, change of name, course add/drop, course withdrawal, request to graduate, change of address, etc.

  1. To receive a course schedule appropriate to your academic program:
    1. All transfer credits, if applicable, must already be determined.  Only official transcripts will be reviewed (submit early!)
    2. Accuplacer placements must already be determined (test early!)
    3. Program of study must already be chosen (apply & deposit early!)
  2. All schedules prepared for Summer Orientation are considered tentative.  As planning and updating continue throughout the summer months, the college may adjust your schedule as necessary to reflect course changes.
  3. If your major is not correct, please contact the Registrar’s Office as soon as possible.
  4. For you to maintain proper progress toward meeting all degree requirements (see course catalog) and be able to meet the course pre-requisites for each, the courses on this schedule must should not be changed without approval by an Academic Advisor (see #5 below).  If you have athletic conflicts, we will work with your coach in an attempt to revise your schedule.  However, your education is a priority and we may not be able to entertain every request.
  5. If you have questions about how to add/drop classes, Academic Advising is available during the add/drop period as per the Academic Calendar – forms are available in the Registrar’s Office and must be complete, signed and submitted by the last day to add/drop.  For this first round of registration, you will need to process changes through the Registrar' s Offfice. For spring 2009 registration, you will use WebAdvisor.
  6. You will be considered registered, and therefore required to attend, the courses shown on your printed schedule unless:
    1. We cancel the course meeting and provide you with an alternative
    2. You formally drop the course during the add/drop period as per the Academic Calendar – forms are available in the Registrar’s Office and must be complete, signed and submitted by the last day to drop.
    3. You will not be considered registered, and therefore may not attend, any course not shown on your printed schedule unless you formally add the course during the add/drop period as per the Academic Calendar – forms are available in the Registrar’s Office and must be complete, signed and submitted by the last day to add.
  7. If you would like to make “convenience” changes to your schedule (ie: day/time/location of course), we will welcome those changes during the add/drop period as per the Academic Calendar – the forms are available in the Registrar’s Office and must be complete, signed and submitted by the last day to add/drop.
