DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH

Reporting to the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, the Director will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of the institutional research needs of the College, including but not limited to, data collection and analysis, maintaining data security, completion of federally mandated and accreditation reports, and preparation and analysis of data in support of campus academic planning, srategic decision-making, enrollment management, and program assessment.

QUALIFICATIONS

An earned doctorate in a quantitative discipline, demonstrated ability in research methodology, data collection and analysis, direct experience with comprehensive student information systems, a minimum of five years experience in institutional research, strategic planning, and assessment, the ability to gather data, synthesize and summarize the information in both written and verbal formats, proficiency in statistical and institutional research design and techniques such as modeling, multivariate analyses and forecasting, and proficiency with spreadsheets, relational databases, data warehousing and statistical analysis programs such as SPSS required.  Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in managing multiple tasks,ability to work with diverse constituents and exercise leadership in identifying and implementing projects, and a commitment to innovation and advancing an institutional culture of data-driven decision-making desired. Experience with Datatel/Colleague preferred.


 

STUDENT ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Reporting to the Director of Student Administrative Services, this position is responsible for the effective management of current and prospective student account receivables.  Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity and timeliness of student account charges, credits, adjustments, and refunds, developing and maintaining the database's billing rules and billing information, assisting the student account representatives with the billing and collection of student accounts, identifying students needing financial clearance for registrations, class start, graduation, and housing, reviewing past due accounts and approving delinquent accounts for future collection activity, monitoring student account balances including credit balances generated by federal funds to maintain compliance with all federal and institutional regulations, and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree, a minimum of three years experience in Student Accounts/Bursar area, strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours required.  Experience in higher education, and significant experience working with an integrated computer system desired.  Knowledge of Datatel/Colleague preferred.


 

FACULTY POSITION

GAME DESIGN

The College invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Game Design for Fall 2010.

QUALIFICATIONS

A terminal degree in a creative field and evidence of effective teaching preferred.  Industry experience in the field of game design and production, specifically level design, construction, and scripting required.  Modeling and animation experience using Maya or similar 3D package, experience with a game engine such as Unity, Unreal, Torque or similar engine, and development in Direct-X and XNA environments desired.

 DIRECTOR OF NURSING EDUCATION

The College is seeking the leadership of an experienced Nursing educator-administrator to serve as its Director of Nursing Education effective July 1, 2009

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates will have a Master of Science in Nursing and preferably an appropriate earned doctorate, a current  RN licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts, a minimum of five years full-time nursing experience within the last eight years, a minimum of three years experience in nursing education, and administrative experience in their field or in education.
