Where can I find the shuttle?

If you live on the Leicester Campus the shuttle stop is located at the lower level of the Student Center (outside the Commuter Lounge).

If you reside on the Worcester Campus, you may take the shuttle from either the:

1. Roxbury Street Parking Lot (behind the Weller Academic Building), or the
2. Boutin Student Center (on the Cedar Street side).

Where can I find the gym?

If you live on the Leicester Campus the gym is located:

1. The gymnasium is located at #959 Main Street Leicester, MA
2. The "Pit" (weight room) is located at #7 Washburn Square, Leicester Ma.

If you reside on the Worcester Campus:

1. the gymnasium is located:on the second floor of the Boutin Student Center at #44 West Street.
2. the weight room is located: on the ground floor of the Health / Science Center at #51 Sever Street.

How do I know if class is canceled because of the weather?

Cancellation of classes scheduled during daytime hours will be announced on the following television and radio stations by no later than 6:00 a.m.

In the case of cancellations of evening classes at the Worcester and Leicester campuses (held after 5:00 p.m.), the announcements  will be made by no later than 3:00 p.m.  

Radio Stations:  WTAG 580 AM, WBZ 1030 AM, WORC 1310 AM, WSRS 96.1 FR, WORC 98.9 FM, and WXLO 104.5 FM.

Television Stations:  WBZ Channel 4, WCVB Channel 5, and WHDH Channel 7.

In the case of courses offered by the Center for Accelerated and Professional Studies held at locations other than Worcester and Leicester, the Center will notify their students by E-mail and the Blackboard site of any cancellations. 

What if I don't want to sit around listening to the radio?

In addition to announcements in the public media, the home page of the Becker College Web site, the Becker College Angel site, angel.becker.edu, and the College switchboard will have this information.

How do I know if class is canceled for a reason other than the weather?

The most direct way to find out if one of your professors has canceled class is by calling Becker College at (508) 373-9599. If a class is canceled it will be recorded there.
