  Community LinksThe Becker College community is an active one; students, faculty and staff often volunteer shoulder to shoulder in a variety of service projects. Students are encouraged to get involved in their community; as part of their course work, athletics or residence life. Becker has been a leader in student internship and community service hours, logging in more than 157,000 hours in 2004 and 2005. The Greater Worcester area is home to many long-standing and well-respected human service and neighborhood organizations. Becker education and nursing students volunteer at nearby Elm Park Community School. The College supports its local United Way. Staff and members of the Community Service Club volunteer locally and have traveled to participate in the Habitat for Humanity Spring Break.
