The Becker College Football Program began in 2005. After the 2007 season, Athletic Director Frank Millerick announced the hiring of new Head Coach Bill McDonald in December. McDonald comes to Becker from the nationally ranked New England powerhouse Curry College. He spent ten years on the Curry staff in a variety of positions on both sides of the ball most recently as Offensive Coordinator for the high scoring Colonels.

 

McDonald quickly began building the program by adding many highly qualified and experienced assistant coaches who bring a wide variety of experiences from all levels of the college game.

 

With the construction of a new lighted “field turf” stadium set to begin in April of 2008 excitement for football continues to grow at Becker College. Coach McDonald and his staff will welcome a large freshman class combined with a few seasoned veterans to camp this August to begin a new era with Hawks football. We are all looking forward to this coming season.
