The Colleges of Worcester Consortium premiered the video "Worcester Rocks!" on August 14. The vibrant, high-energy video, posted on YouTube and produced with a grant from the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism,  showcases the city’s many cultural, entertainment and educational attractions and is aimed at young people considering colleges in the Worcester area.

"Worcester – so many choices, you can’t go wrong," said Becker junior Jacques Faublas.

Senior Britney Lowe was among several others from Becker who were tapped to join consortium students appearing in the video. "I felt like a movie star," Lowe said about the video shoot. Students were transported to locations by bus.

Viewers are encouraged to consider the wealth of academic and real-world experiences available to them, in addition to entertainment options. Becker’s Brunel Pierre can be seen in an internship shot. Pierre’s words make a fitting reminder of what really counts for college students, "My keys of success are my goals, along with dedication. There’s nothing more rewarding than your personal achievement."
