Becker College Dedicates the George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Campus Center
Becker College dedicated the George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Campus Center today in a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on its Leicester, Mass., campus.
“Becker College is a tremendous resource for the Worcester community, and our trustees feel strongly that our investment in this magnificent new building will improve the student experience. We are proud and honored to be recognized in this way,” said Mark W. Fuller, chairman of the George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation.
A speaking program included Becker College President Robert E. Johnson, Ph.D., Becker Trustee Chair Arthur P. (Jay) DiGeronimo, Becker Senior Vice President and CFO David Ellis, Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury), Mass. Representative John J. Binienda (D-Worcester), Leicester Selectman Dianna Provencher, architect William J. Masiello, and Becker College Student Government Association President Brooke Cote ’13.
“I am very proud to be standing here today, to be a Becker student, and to have the College show its dedication, commitment, and belief in us by fundraising and doing all of the hard work to get this new Campus Center open for this fall,” said Cote, a pre-veterinary major. “This building has truly united our two campuses.”
“Let this be a place where our college community comes together to engage in the transformational experience that is a Becker College education,” said President Johnson. “And as we do so, let us not forget the hundreds of people who gave of their time, talent, and treasure to make this day possible. Moving forward, this building sets a new standard for excellence in all that we do.”
