The Department of Criminal Justice & Legal Studies recognized National Criminal Justice Month (March) by inviting a panel of students interning in the field to talk about their experiences with state and local police, district court probation, a district attorney’s office, legal firms and a social serivice organization. A common thread ran through each of the students’ remarks: they were treated as professionals, made valued contributions, and the experience helped them make important decisions about their future careers.
