Joan Kariko and Ellen Ferrante, co-founders of Refugee Artisans Worcester (RAW), presented a discussion of the plight of refugees worldwide and the resettlement issues faced by refugees and immigrants in Worcester, on Monday, March 31, 2014, in the Center for Global Citizenship at Becker. Local artists, who are refugees now living in Worcester,  showcased indigenous ancient crafts through demonstrations.
