Men's and Women's Basketball Soar Forward
The Becker Hawks men’s and women’s basketball teams both won their respective games on Tuesday, February 25.
The third seeded Becker College defeated the sixth seeded Daniel Webster, 81-64 in New England Collegiate Conference men’s basketball playoff action on Tuesday night. The win lifts the Hawks record to 15-11, while the Eagles season comes to an end with a record of 8-18. Read more.

Men’s and Women’s Basketball Host NECC Playoff Games
The men’s and women’s basketball teams will host the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) playoff games on Tuesday, February 25, at the Leicester Gymnasium.
The women’s basketball team earned the fourth seed in the tournament and will host fifth-seeded Daniel Webster College (11-14, 9-9 NECC) at 6:00 p.m. The Hawks defeated the Eagles twice this season, earning a 66-58 win on January 11 and a thrilling 70-67 victory on February 8. The winner of Tuesday night’s game will travel to top-seeded Regis College (21-4, 18-0 NECC) on Friday, February 28, at 6:00 p.m.
The men’s basketball team earned the third seed in the tournament and will host sixth-seeded Daniel Webster College (8-17, 7-9 NECC) at 8:00 p.m. The Hawks split their season series with the Eagles, dropping a 67-57 decision on February 15 before earning a playoff spot with a 65-55 victory on Friday evening. The winner of Tuesday night’s game will play second-seeded Mitchell College (17-7, 12-4 NECC) on Friday, February 28, at 8:00 p.m. at Elms College.
