Loew Named one of 40 Under 40
Tim Loew (pictured left, with his mother, Mary) has been a member of the administration at Becker for a number of years, moving from operations to academic affairs. Active on campus and in his community, Loew received an award for his place on Worcester Business Journal‘s 40 Under 40, at a reception on September 19. The listing profiles up-and-coming leaders, from the self-employed, to non-profit, to high-powered firms, and has included Becker graduates, and Trustee Christopher Provo, in past years.
A board member for Park Spirit, a non-profit that supports Worcester’s public parks, Loew helps organize and promote activities in parks such as the Elm Park Concert Series and advocates for greater economic sustainability within the parks system as well as improved conditions and access. He is also active with the Pleasant St. Network Center, East Highland Area and Elm Park-Lincoln Estate Neighborhood groups. He works on active citizenship and summer youth employment initiatives with a variety of organizations and groups in the area.
Loew has previously worked in banking and as an independent business management consultant. Read Tim’s complete profile, and view photos of this year’s 40 taken among the collections at the Worcester Art Museum, in the September 3 issue of the Worcester Business Journal.
The Worcester Business Journal partners with Junior Achievement of Central Massachusetts to produce the 40 Under 40 list and well-attended annual reception.
