The Becker College Interactive Entertainment program welcomes Raf Anzovin of Anzovin Studio for a guest lecture on Tuesday, April 17 at 4:00 p.m. at the Design Center, 45 Cedar Street, Worcester.

Located “midway between New York and Boston,” Anzovin Studio was recently commissioned by Firaxis Games to produce the opening sequence for Sid Meier’s Railroads. According to Firaxis, Railroads is “the watershed title in simulation/strategy gaming that launched the popular ‘tycoon’ genre.” Since 1999, Anzovin and his father, Steve, have built their company to offer a full range of character animation services, including design and development and complex motion choreography.

At his lecture, Anzovin will discuss animation techniques for game design using Maya software.
