  • The computer game design and development programs at Becker College are among the best in the nation, nationally ranked in the top 10 by The Princeton Review. Students are on the cutting-edge of a fast growing global industry that is expected to reach $90 billion by 2014. In Massachusetts alone there are 76 video game design companies including Turbine, Blue Fang and Harmonix. Becker students put their learning to work at internships and creating professional work, like developing a video game from start to finish or teaching their skills to others.

Becker’s unique blend of design and programming coursework with a general education and liberal arts curriculum, along with small class sizes, allows students to focus on their passion– whether it is art or computer programming or both. Students use the same state-of-the-art technology that video game companies use, including a high-performance computer lab, a six-camera video motion capture system, full range of 3D design software and more.
