Student Game Developers Show New Games
The Massachusetts Digital Games Institute, based at Becker College, celebrated the close of its 2013 Summer Innovation Program (SIP) with an open house on Thursday, August 8. More than 20 student game developers, working in five teams, displayed their games, Brain Frame, Robot Orphan Workforce, TicTacToe Squared, Wobbles, and Zeebi Zoo, for more than 200 guests, including the media.

During the SIP, students met on-campus with more than 20 mentors from companies including Reactive Studios, Cloudant, Bare Tree Media, Green Door Labs, The Tap Lab, Stomp Games, Giant Otter, Venture Forum, and DigiSocial, and they went off-site to visit Indie Game Collective, PopCannibal (owner of Robot Orphan Workforce), NeuroScouting (owner of Zeebi Zoo), and Harvard Medical School.
SIP students represent nine colleges and universities including Becker College, Berklee College of Music, Champlain College, Hampshire College, Northeastern University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rhode Island School of Design, Union College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
