Becker Garners Six Education Digital Marketing Awards

Becker College has received six awards in the 2013 Education Digital Marketing Awards competition, which recognizes the best educational websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media, and social media.

The College received the Gold Award for the 2013 President’s Report and for the Huffington Post blog by Becker College President Robert E. Johnson, Ph.D.; the Silver Award for its recently launched mobile app; and Merit Awards for its “Centuries of Tradition” video commemorating its 225th Commencement Anniversary, for Becker Bridges alumni magazine, and for its website, www.becker.edu.  This is the third award for the college’s website, which received the Web Marketing Association 2012 Web Award for “outstanding development in website development” and the Silver Award from the Collegiate Advertising Awards.

“Becker College is pleased to be recognized for its wide range of communications, which present the college’s distinctiveness and excellence to prospective students and their families, our alumni, and the general public,” said President Johnson. “This year we were also recognized by The Princeton Review for the second consecutive year as a ‘Best College,’ and for the fourth consecutive year for our top-ranked video game design program. Our communications about the college have had a positive impact, as we welcomed in 2013 our largest enrollment in 230 years. We will continue to share our story so we can attract students who are prepared to be world ready in today’s competitive job market.”
