Using Psychology Games and Activities of Yesteryear to Prepare for our Future (With Special Guest: Dr. Ronald G. Shapiro)

Join us for an hour of psychology activities and games, followed by a discussion about ways in which lessons learned from the games might be useful as you move on to graduate school, enter the workforce, start a family, or continue on in your academic program at Becker. This program will be loaded with prizes, surprises, and lots of ideas to apply as you enter “the real world.”

All Psychology and Education majors are expected to attend this event. All others are encouraged to join in on the fun.

Dr. Ronald Shapiro is an engaging and entertaining speaker who has taught psychology at the university level and presents regularly at professional psychologists’ and educators’ conferences. An independent consultant in Learning, Education, Career Development and Planning, Leadership, Human Factors, Ergonomics, and Human Resources, Ron often speaks to college students on the topic of career preparation and is the author of “Preparing for Your Career with a Psychology Degree”. He was elected to Fellow status in the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), as well as the American Psychological Association (APA), where he served as President of the Division of Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology.
