Accelerated Accuplacer Exams

Accelerated Students,

If you are a new student or need to take an English or Math course, it is time to register for your placement exams!

Placement exams:

The Accuplacer is administered in the Accelerated Office for students enrolled in the Accelerated and Professional Studies program.  Please contact your Academic Advisor to register for the exam.  Below you can find further details about who should register.

Do you need to complete College Algebra or English Comp I?  To help ensure your success, we require all students who have not completed a college level Math or English class with a C or better, to complete a computer based placement test as a pre-requisite of MATH 1200 College Algebra and ENGL 1001 English Composition I.  This is called the Accuplacer Exam.  Please choose a testing date and register within the first semester of attendance at Becker College.  The results of this test will assist your academic advisor in determining the most appropriate Math and English courses for you to take.  Sample questions can be viewed on the College Board:  Accuplacer site at http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/accuplacer/preparation-sample.html
