Homeschooled Students

Becker College welcomes applications from home schooled students. Becker College understands that home schooled students have a unique situation, but by submitting the materials listed below, the admissions office will get the most accurate details on each applicant’s academic ability and potential. Home schooled applicants must submit the following:

• Completed application
• Official educational records. Information about the home school program being followed by the applicant must be submitted to the admissions office. These materials should include the program’s accreditation, grading procedures, curriculum and course descriptions. If applicants have completed any course work from a traditional high school or college, please submit that information.
• Official SAT or ACT scores
• Letter of recommendation (optional)
• Open-ended personal statement (optional)

Upon completion of being home schooled, each home school applicant must submit certification that the student has met the local school district’s graduation requirements or GED equivalent.
