Step 6: Accuplacer

Spring 2017 Accepted Students:

Students may now register for testing time/date of their choice here.

Fall 2017 Accepted Students:

Testing for enrolling fall 2017 students will become available in the spring, 2017.

Some incoming students to Becker College will complete the Accuplacer as part of new student assessment. The placement testing scores are not part of admission to Becker College, but are an assessment of the student’s current skill level and therefore part of the registration process. The placement test scores help us register students in appropriate courses. Students who are required to take some, or all, of the placement test must do so prior to attending an orientation program. Students who place into Foundations of College Mathematics will have the opportunity to complete this course either during the summer Gateway program or during their first semester. NOTE: Animal Science students who test into Foundations of College Mathematics must complete the class during the summer Gateway program.

  • New students with no previous college experience will be required to take assessments in mathematics.
  • Transfer students will be evaluated for placement testing requirements. Parts, or all, of the test may be waived depending upon the student’s college course work and chosen major.  For questions or information, email Michael Perron, Dean of Admissions, at michael.perron@becker.edu.  Registration for Accuplacer testing dates and times can be completed by clicking here.
